Pablo Quesada’s (Valencia, 2001) practice takes shape as a sensitive investigation into the structures underlying existence. His work explores the fluid nature of vital development, contrasting it with the rigidity of pre-established systems and, through an organic intervention in form, generates a productive tension between these two poles.
He holds a degree in Fine Arts from the Universitat Politècnica de València (2021–2025), including a period of study at the Complutense University of Madrid (2023–2024). He also completed a degree in Foundations of Architecture (2019–2022) and has furthered his education through programs such as POM at the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque, as well as workshops with artists such as June Crespo and Sahatsa Jauregui within the Madrid 31 program of the Community of Madrid.
He has presented solo exhibitions including Trames (Museo Valenciano de la Ilustración y de la Modernidad, Valencia, 2024), Time Is What Prevents Everything from Happening at Once (Galería GE53, Valencia, 2024), and Lumínica Tectónica (Óxido Galería, Mexico City). His work has also been featured in duo shows such as Desborda el río (Galería Sarao, Ferrol–A Coruña, 2025) and No hay nudo sin fricción (Mexico City), as well as in group exhibitions at venues and institutions including Galería El Chico (Madrid), Galería ArtNueve (Murcia), Swab Art Fair (Barcelona), Feria Lateral (Granada), Espiral–Pluto (Valencia), A-Lab Space (Amsterdam), Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque (Madrid), Centro Cultural Mario Silvestre (Alcoy), Palacio Ducal de Medinaceli (Soria), and Provisional 23 (Madrid).
He has been awarded residencies such as Cuerpo de baile (Centro de Cultura Contemporánea Conde Duque, Madrid, 2024), Planisferio de bienes (Daroca–La Rioja, 2024), and the Óxido Galería Residency (Mexico, 2026). He has also received the Acquisition Prize from the Diezy7 Collection at Swab Art Fair, Barcelona (2025).
His work is included in collections such as Sistema Studio (Madrid), Christophe Veys Collection (Belgium), and Diezy7 Collection (Barcelona).
He is a member of the collective Cuerda, alongside Luis Darío Pellat, and of the group Sujeto Habitante, where he develops collaborative projects focused on action and artistic research.
In parallel, he pursues a curatorial practice, founding and managing self-organized spaces such as GE53 (Valencia) and Espiral (Valencia), and collaborating with initiatives including Provisional 23 (Madrid), Pluto (Valencia), and the Mu-Tantes Festival of Artistic Experimentation (Murcia).
